I just came across this on another site

A few years ago, as a warm-up for his big Glastonbury gig, Badly Drawn Boy played a secret show in a local pub. My kids were really into him, so I took them down. He set up his gear in a pub more packed than a Tokyo subway train, and said he'd be back soon. As he made to walk past, one of my sons asked me to get his autograph. I got a pen and paper and asked nicely if he could sign it for my young son, who I pointed out standing next to me. He looked at us both and said "I'm too busy, I don't have ****in' time for that ****," and walked off. My son's face was a picture.
He went off for his supper and kept everyone waiting in that ****ing pub for a full two hours, before coming back to play a **** set. The man is a total bell-end and I look forward to his career ending with an appearance on "Never Mind The Buzz****s" on the bit where you have to guess which of the five used to be famous.
