I just went through all my favorite bands on Facebook. Like hell if I'm going to do "Music by (state)" in wiki for every state.

It's hard since 99% of my favorite musicians either come from California, Japan, or Europe.

I chose The National, because I listen to them a hell of a lot. But Devo were certainly a contender.

I don't listen to enough American artists to make such a list. I went through all my music and got around 10-11 states.
