A: a good example is Boiler by Limp Bizkit. Good song instrumentally, but the song could've been so much more vocally.

An indie metal/punk/gothic band in Louisville called The Revenants. It wasn't a terrible show, but the bassist didn't hit one note that she was supposed to, and the guitarist was turned up waaaaaaaay too loud. And not on purpose. I saw them soundcheck, and it all sounded great... and right when they started he turned up his guitars. Ruined it.
