Me either, but that's because the standard set by those albums is impossibly high.

I think if you take any decent album, and make believe it came out after those three, it pales in comparison. If you can seperate it from those three, Bossanovas pretty good, just not as immediate.

I'm not some fanboy either, its my least favorite Pixies record, but it's still a very good album.

I knew there was a reason I liked it.

I enjoyed Cassadaga and hated I'm Wide Awake. Whatever. It's not like there's too much of Conor's stuff that I can listen to anyways.

Personally, I love Tommy, and it might even be my favorite Who album (assuming Meaty, Beaty, Big & Bouncy doesn't count as a proper album), but I can see why people hate it. I'm not big on the interlude tracks either, and I think Pinball Wizard is one of the Who's weakest tracks (the BBC version smokes the album version), but the best songs (We're Not Gonna Take It, Underture, Sally Simpson, Cousin Kevin, Christmas) are a match for just about any other band's work.

The concept is crap, the lyrics can be overbearing, but the music is wonderful. It's a great zoning out album.

Some Girls is one of their best 70s albums.

Aggghhh!!! I HATE "Some Girls", I've given it ample chances too. It has probably the most atrocious Stones song of all time, "Shattered". Echh. The sad part is, everything afterwards made "Some Girls" sound like "Exile" in comparison. I just really dont like any songs off it, while their mid-70's albums, despite being mediocre for the most part, all have at least one song I like.

I've always liked it better than 'Bossanova', it rocks harder, and has better melodies. Just don't expect anything near as good as 'Doolittle' or 'Rosa'.

Apart from Before They Make Me Run (which is one of the Stones' all time best tracks), I don't see what the fuss is over that album.

Personally, I'll extend Brad's 1976 cutoff for the Stones to 1972. Exile was their last stand for me.
