I really love Saliva.Their latest work Cinco Diablo sucked though. It kind of has soft Rock, instead of Alternative, and hard rock songs.I still think their next CD will be good,I hope.

Though "Judgment Day" was one of the best song ever.

I enjoy Filter and have since the beginning but Anthems for the Damned was pretty weak. The Amalgamut wasn't great either but it was listen-able.

I wouldn't bother it really sucks.

To quote Lou Reed in an interview:

Interviewer: "Where is Doug Yule now?"

Lou Reed: "Dead, I hope."

... Yeah Squeeze isn't very good.

Hate might be a tad strong, but this album is so very passable, that the amount of praise it gets from AnCo fans (that claim it to be some sort of 'bridge' between their pop and experimental side) is laughable. It's not experimental, it's not good, it's forgettable and undeserving.

Yep, Cut the Crap you can barely call a Clash album, and humbug by arctic monkeys.

It's slightly less annoying than MPP, but I agree with you for the most part.

Woah, woah, woah, I don't really like Humbug either but are you comparing the two?

Oh my GOD what is with the hate that album gets? Seriously...how is it any worse than than any of their last 3 albums? In fact, I often mix up Amputechture and Bedlam because I can never remember which has what songs. They may as well be parts 1 and 2 of the same damn album.

Dayvan Cowboy 11-01-2010 04:00 PM

I just don't like the vocals whatsoever. Cedric's vocals on The Drunkship Of Lanterns were some of the best I've ever heard (I'd even rank his vocal talent above Beyonce's, and that's quite a stretch) and he wasted that vocal talent by adding more vocal effects and singing very differently.

Badlittlekitten 11-01-2010 04:29 PM

Was struggling for ages thinking of something to contribute to this. There geinuly isn't a album by my fave bands that I would say I hate or even dislike. Then it hit me, Bjork's Volta. I'd always rely on good ol' Bjork, but she let me down big time. There's nothing I can remember liking about it (haven't touched it since release). Hopefully a purple patch and not a sign of artisic decline.

The one Cure album i really just can't listen to. It's directionless, unfocused, there's some really irritating instrumentation, and Robert Smith sounds like he's wasted.

I feel like he still used it...only with added effects. They are a progressive band, it only makes sense that Cedric would be progressive with his instrument.

I always saw it as a messy attempt at some kind of Psychedelia that was only half-successful, with a lot of problems within the band only adding onto the result, but I can hear why people don't like it. Maybe it's me and my appeal towards messed-up albums (which this clearly is), but I still listen to it more than their albums after The Head on the Door. "Birdmad Girl," "The Caterpillar," "Shake Dog Shake," and "Bananafishbones" are alright, but the rest should have been shoved to the B-Sides...or maybe the out-take bin.

I love Tom Wait to pieces but I've never been able to get into this one. It's just so goddamn boring it's unbelievable.

I really like Metallica it's a shame that they had to put out this piece of ****. As cliche as it seems and how humiliating it is for the majority of Metallica fans to the point where they don't even want to mention this album it deserves to be mentioned. All of the songs are poorly written and talk about anger. Very little creativity, you got to give Lars props though. Instead of being the skilled drummer he is he decides to "experiment" by banging on trash cans.

Loving The Rolling Stones I'd have to say that this is by far there worst album. Nearly every track on here is filler. Very little keeps my attention I actually found myself listening to this album while working on a paper I had a full nights rest and was wide awake I put this dull, bland album on and literally fell asleep and woke with the final verse of "I'm Gonna Drive" playing. Thanks a lot Stones for making me turn in a late paper! So if anyone wants to listen to an album that is bound to bore you or want to catch up on any sleep then Voodoo Lounge is for you!

I'm a Christina Aguilera fanatic!! But honestly her last album, Bionic, didn't impress me as much as any of the others. It just wasn't her. With the exception of maybe 2-4 songs (out of almost 20) the album, to me, was complete garbage. Especially when I saw that Nicki Manaj was featured on one of the tracks. I just wanted to throw up!

To Lefty From Willie

Thank the lord Lefty Frizzell isn't alive to hear this. The worst song has to be his rendition of Mom and Dad's Waltz. This isn't you Willie!

I find that when he's not singing with 72354675 vocal effects on Bedlam, he sounds quite different vocally. I'm used to him hitting lower notes every once and a while, but as I listen to this album, it sounds like he's only singing high notes. Also, is seems as if this album is more vocally oriented, as the guitars and the rest of the instruments seem almost unimportant when Cedric's singing.

:( I can definitely see where you're coming from, though. Right from the first track, Waits plays it really low-key and almost inoffensively. The vocals kind of save it for me though; I've never heard Tom whimper quite as well as he does on the title track, though I'll admit "Kommienezuspadt" is sort of rubbishy.

You kidding? Listen to the drumming, it's nuts.

You're focusing too much on the vocals and it's preventing you from enjoying the album as it should be enjoyed.

Nowhere near the quality of all their other albums, I have faith they've still got a great album or two in them.

Not a fan of this album either.
I bought the CD on it's release and ended up lending it out.
I never got it back and it's a testament to the album that I could never remember who I'd lent it to in the first place.
Can't agree with you on it being total filler. It did have it's moments.
Don't ask me which ones though.

Flyingpig437 11-02-2010 05:26 PM

Virtually every song on the first 5 Beatles albums is ****! I think there's only ! saw her standing there and Help I'd ever willingly listen to again.
