Bar a few songs i completely agree, and i'd say they were hinting upon it on Because of the Times too, which isn't as consistent an album as i'd like it to be.

I see only a few signs of 'dirty southern rock' on either.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned the Outsider by DJ Shadow yet.

By far their best album. My Sharona is also a better song than anything Trent has turned out, and I like NIN.

I'm having a hard time liking Bryter Layter by Nick Drake after listening to Pink Moon.

I couldn't listen to the whole thing, it's pretty terrible.

Listen to Northern Sky a few times and you'll get into it. It's a very album different to Pink Moon but it's just as good.

Love the Velvet Underground and some of Lou Reeds solo stuff, but this was just a travesty. No, I don't care if it's a "milestone" in noise music, it was Lou in a recording studio unable to do anything because he was so stoned out of his mind on heroin.

How could I forget about this one. I'm a huge Lou Reed fan but this was terrible. When I first started getting into the Velvets and Reed's solo music, people kept telling me to avoid this one.

Only the most pretentious idiots on the planet would say they like that album.
