Sorry, I only just noticed this question.
For myself, I like the way the nominated albums are confined to a theme, but not a genre. That`s what makes the club special. I`d say leave "the-genre-is-the-theme" idea for the weekly threads, and the specialised music forums. Let`s enjoy the freedom of being a general music club.

like Lisnaholic....Love Life of an Octopus is by far my favorite track on the album.....it really has all the great elements ranging from floating to jarring guitar.....just a stellar track
^ I`m glad we agree: it is the best.

driving over donor pass at 2am with a full moon and this album blasting was damn near religious.....a great listen
That sounds like a really enviable experience.

And the winner of November's club, determined by a popular vote is: 1971!

You have one week to send in all of your nominations! This should be a really good club this Month.

Got to narrow it down. Or if you like, I can wait until everyone else has submitted, and you can nominate whatever they missed.

I don't want to have more than 10 options max though, or else we'll have an 11-way-tie of 1 vote each or something.

Okay. That way we can see if everyone else nominates most of the great albums, and you can fill in the blanks.
