^ Yes, and I thought the same about John Wesley Harding. Then I noticed that on the album cover the trees are bare and the guys are wearing coats, so that`s pretty wintry !
BTW, one of the guys on the cover is Purna Das Baul :-

What a shame Purna and Bob didn`t knock out a few songs together !

For me, the Best Winter Album Cover award goes to Covenant, best album title to Kate Bush.

Oh fucking hell, Lonesome Crowded West? Don't people want to discuss something new?

I'm really hoping to do an album I haven't heard yet. There's still time to tie it up though.

I voted for The Velvet Underground, because I haven't heard much from them before and this would be the perfect excuse.

Having an open poll also runs the risk of attracting voters who have no intention of joining the club.

Most seem to vote on what they want to see win, as happened with The Butthole Surfers for instance. So indie rock, or heavier rock of some type is likely to win here.

It's a little disheartening that there are always more than 10 voters, but probably less than 5 people participating in the club after the vote.

I've not done one of these yet but I'll vote for that Auburn Lull album because it sounds right up my street.
