Because it is a collective of amazing songs, which will still be radio and ipod staples 30 years from now with songs like Clocks, The Scientist, In My Place. I suggest we institute a rule that anyone who comes into a Coldplay thread and uses the word "boring" gets an instant ban for being utterly unoriginal. Agreed? Cool. :\

I heard a story on the radio the other day about someone doing DDR Coldplay - "Clocks" nonstop for three weeks.
The guy in the apartment on top of his called in and complained how annoyed he was.
Supposedly, everyone in the building was sick of the song.

This is my argument for the banishment of Coldplay.
