Agree, except Violet Hill wasnt that bad, but Viva La Vida was a big let down, and Lost! is just live footage its like they werent even trying.

Anyway their new EP Prospekt's March is due next month and i'm very excited especially the new Lost version featuring Jay-Z and the full version of Life in Technicolour, I felt the album version was just filler, too short, and just seemed un needed really.

meh I enjoy them once in a while, not a big fan though, A Rush Of Blood To The Head is their best album.

The Lovers In Japan music video is currently available for free at the itunes music store, definitely worth the download.

Even TV show Bones made fun of Coldplay in its third episode of its fourth season.

I really dont understand why people make fun of Coldplay, they really are a good band and deserve some respect, but on this forum I think the only fans on here are me and adidass.

it's because they are popular, have a wide audience and are played a lot on stations like Radio 2.

I like Coldplay, not keen on the latest album. Seeing them again in December, dont like the fact that some songs will be bumped for the new material.

Awesome, I'm seeing them in a couple weeks, how was it the first time you saw them?

Really enjoyed it. A month after X&Y, 5 rows from front. Morning Runner opened (brilliant) Doves second (good but boring music) and then Coldplay. They dont take themselves seriously and so everyone had some fun. It was also were the second half of the vide for Fix You was filmed.

Wow that sounds sooo awesome!

Anyway about Coldplay stealing from joe satriani, I srsly doubt that they did but I've often heard Chris Martin admit that they are 'inspired by' things from other people. Such as Speed of Sound was inspired by a Kate Bush song and even their new outfits were inspired by Adam Ant.
