Default New Bands/Artists that you think will be one hit wonders..?

We all have that familliar certainty when we hear some of the new music passing through the charts these days, And we can only help but to compare it to that of the one hit wonders we have previsouly been seen, or should i say heard, back in the 80's and 90's. The time when tight leather trousers and hairspray afros where not an unusual sight in numerous girl, or in some cases, boy bands.

For many that era has been and gone, and to them just remains, well ..... an era.
However, I believe there are more than one artist releasing albums today - that might not quite be up to the challange that is more commonly knnow as the future.

What do you think?

Adele. She's not very good. People will hopefully stop liking her soon.

I don't like her either, but she's already had two very successful albums so she's certainly not a one-hit wonder.

Adele might be a one-hit-wonder stateside though. It's not unusual for artists to be seeing vastly different levels of success in different regions.

That said, other than Adele, I'm really not familiar with... any chart topping music right now.

Due to the fact she has 2 albums which have hit the charts both time on numerous occasions all over the world, she definately isnt a one hit wonder. Personally, im a fan of Adele, because she writes good music in my opinion. However, im open to other opinions of artists - If everyone was the same, life would be boring.

Im talking about vile pop though and just outright garbage that comes into the music scene on a daily basis - Like that annoying little girl who thinks singing a song about friday is going to give higher piers a better mental attitude of her self.

Thats what i would call a one hit wonder - only due to the fact its to damn outrageous.

But theres plenty more where she came from no doubt.

Obviously music liek that is what keeps the music industrie spinning on many occasions, im sure theres many a little girl out there who love that song and have the single.

However, can you see this being a hit single in 10 years time?

More like a laughing stock of the century.

Like many others on here, I don't listen to too much pop music, but I don't see Alexandra Stan having many other hits lol.

For those, that don't know, she had the Mr Saxobeat song. It's actually got a fairly decent beat.

Here's the song.

I disagree that Adele writes good music. Rolling in the Deep? Painfully repetitive and never fails to give me a headache.

Wouldn't call that a one-hit wonder.

"Friday" is not a one-hit-wonder, purely on the basis that it's not popular because it's good. Its notoriety comes from its awfulness.
