I pretty much discovered the Def Jux label through a friend that played 'Pigeon' by Cannibal Ox in the car once, so I have him to thank for Aesop Rock, Mr Lif, Cage and El-P, as well as Company Flow, who I found through association. My mate has no interest in any of it, he actually put on Can Ox by accident, and I insisted he keep it playing.
