The quality, frequency, and depth of discussion on music has significantly decreased, the quality of members has fallen, the level of comraderie and sense of community once felt by a tight-knit group of music enthusiasts has gone. MB has become a breeding ground for inane arguments, ideological bickering, and general pointlessness. Our best posters rarely post anymore, and our mods spend most of their time making one-liners as opposed to kickstarting incredibly interesting and diverse threads as they have in the past. Some of the best minds these boards have ever known are gone forever, only to be replaced by a slew of cheap imitations.
Just my opinion, I'm sure there are others who disagree but I don't see how they can defend such a position.
