You guys are wasting your time. If you want the best experience in anything just stay awake for 2 days or until something important is about to come up. Since you will have to be awake put on the music and you'll see what I'm talking about. You'll be having dreams while you're awake. Any music can sound good at that point. You'll start seeing ice princesses and the music will come alive straight in your face.

I no longer use drugs, smoke or drink alcohol. The reason is because doing drugs, smoking and drinking alcohol is similar to suicide from my perspective. It's a cowards way out.

I felt too ashamed to do any of those things so I grew myself some balls and stopped.

The one thing I strive to be in life is anti-coward. Anything associated with that word disgusts me.

I'm not entirely sure what you are on about.
You seem to be suggesting that staying awake for two days is better for enjoying music? That isn't "not being a coward," it's just dumb. Presumably drinking tea is a "cowardly" way of staying awake, too? If you deprive yourself of sleep, that can equally affect your health as much as drinking or smoking.
And I doubt anyone is impressed by the fact that you "grew some balls". No one reading that will think "what an amazing guy he must be!"

So if I was to go down to my nearest bar right now for a few quiet drinks and light up a few cigarettes I'd be a coward and I'll be committing suicide? Yeah sure. Not everyone who drinks is a down-and-out alcoholic and not everyone who does drugs is a junkie by the way, so don't hold yourself in higher regard. If I was to inject horse-tranquilliser into my eyeballs it would be a completely different story.

You're right. I don't like being tarred with that brush just because I like to have a relaxing drink with my friends. I like alcohol because of it's taste, not just because it makes me feel better.

Exactly. I like going for a few drinks with my friends to relax, socialise and just have a good time. That doesn't mean I have an alcohol problem and I'm wasting my life away and I need to grow balls.

Yes. The only reason people do drugs is for 2 reasons.

1. To feel better.

2. For fun with friends.

I don't know what type of person anyone is on this forum but I have a reputation to uphold. People look up to me and if I make too many mistakes then the foundation is watered.

My friends do drugs, drink etc but I don't. Because of this (and many other things) my friends go to me when they have problems. I've earned their respect and trust.

I'm a person that helps others but never does anything so other people will like me. I never let myself turn into a coward in life. I do what I want to do and nobody can tell me not to.

I'm the one who rolls the dices. Everyone else in my life (family, friends) follow. It might seem arrogant and cocky but that is only what people have called me all my life. In the end I get what I want.

Why am I posting all this? I don't know.

If you choose not to drink then I certainly respect that decision, but to go and call people who enjoy a couple of drinks with friends at the weekend a coward and look down on them is stretching things a bit too far. There is nothing wrong with that at all and it's no more harmful than spending your day playing video games or eating tons of chocolate. Yes people succumb to drug abuse and serious alcohol abuse and that's because they just don't know how to handle them.

Ok that was uncalled for.

Maybe I'm wrong. All I know is that the people in my life that do take drugs respect me more than they do other people that take drugs. I don't let the fact that they do drugs interfere with our friendship though.

You don't need to refrain from drugs to earn other people's respect. It might be a different type of culture where you live and people might have a different stance on drugs so you might have a point, but here whether you do drugs or not you're respected for who you are regardless, unless you really get fucked up on them.

I live in Texas. There are so many drug addicts that anyone who takes drugs even if just a little will not be respected. Maybe it does have to do with where I live. I don't know. All I know is that certain people look up to me like a father and brother who makes no mistakes. It might suck that I can't do **** but if I let them down who are they going to go to?

I don't know man. Maybe because my friends take drugs and I have to carry their problems on my back all the time I associate them as cowards and maybe I'm wrong. If doing drugs doesn't interfere with your life then do as you please.
