Kerry Livgren could write some epics. He was definitely aware, but, not aware as it goes.

It makes me wonder what kind, and, how much dope were all these great lyrics derived.

Kerry went away to church, and, that was the end of one of my favorites. Styx II....Father OSA. And, always loved 'You'd Better Ask'

I`m a geek and I remeber albums like Styx I really well

Kerry was special and I I always preferred his song writing to that of Steve Walsh (Steve was still a great writer though)

Kerry did go to church and as you say that really was the end of Kansas, they did put out one more great album though In the Spirit of Things in 1988 a concept album.

Maybe this thread should be renamed "The American Pomp Rock Thread"
