Added most of these to my "To Listen" list! Looking forward to checking them out. Looks very promising. Thanks for your recommendations! Keep them coming.

Personally, I think Primus works well early in the morning too.

*Bryan Ferry: covers album Taxi (1993). I Put a Spell on You, Rescue Me, Taxi, Will You Love Me Tomorrow, etc.

Good idea for a thread!

There's a Richard Hawley album called Late Night Final that I find goes well with...late nights. Rainy days as well. Here are a few songs:

Well, you get the idea.

Oh, this one as well, by the Arctic Monkeys:

I'd rather listen to something loud & abrasive that makes me want to jump around the room and break things at night.

I keep all the mellow and soppy stuff for the mornings when I'm nursing a hangover.

Such an awesome album to unwind to late at night going into the morning hours. A very chill vibe one gets from this man and his music especially off of entroducing. Which has to be one of the best if not the best use of samples in any genre of music.

Some pretty filthy dubstep that never fails to conjure up the underbelly of a city late at night knowing that its your home.

Turn off your mind and let the music take you where it wants to. You could follow it for as long as you want, but with King Crimson your in for the schizophrenic nightmare of your life. Just sit back and enjoy the chaos enfolding around you.
