Satori - 3
Absolutely Free - 1 Giving it to Satori. Absolutely Free was interesting but ultimately not something I'd ever return to, whereas I would listen to Satori again. |
Absolutely Free disappointed me a bit, after Freak Out! It was a bit of a letdown. Satori is epic.
Satori - 4 Absolutely Free - 1 |
Yes, Satori! Some amazing riffs on that record - need to dig it out again soon.
Satori 5 AF 1 |
Again, I apologize for the lack of updates in this thread. School has been kicking my ass this semester. Unless we want Frownland to suggestion the next album (he sent me 4 nominees), I need some suggestions.
Let me know and I promise to update no later than tomorrow morning if you get one in between now and then. |
i like Free more than Money but not as much as Freak
i'll have to give this to mystical Indian/Middle Eastern funky proto-metal Satori - 6 Free - 1 |
I'm still waiting for an album suggestion... Send them in!

Only recently listened to it, but Satori is an amazing album.
Satori - 7 Absolutely Free - 1 |
Well, then. Satori wins in convincing fashion 7-1. And to think Unknown Solider thought it wouldn't even get by Rushes! So up next, Lord of Sushi serves up a sophomore album from just last year.
Satori by Flower Travellin' Band http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Thoqgriw7v...320/satori.jpg 1. Defeated The Fireman's Rushes 3-0 2. Defeated Frank Zappa's Absolutely Free 7-1 Vs Plains of the Purple Buffalo by *shels http://www.rocksound.tv/images/uploads/shelscd300.jpg |
Satori - 1
Plains of the Purple Buffalo - 0 I love both, but the latter was almost too difficult to get through with all the long gaps. I appreciate it as an album, but would rather listen to the former. |
haven't yet heard shels
