Just in internet joke image i beleive.

No, I was talking to the guy currently known as Ki. Smith, in that photo, with his soul patch, "unique" bracelets, and - uh - the take on hockey hair, looks... umm.. well, like a character from a mockumentary.

I changed it. Not for any reason. Just wasn't quite right.

#88: Steely Dan

  • Great for when you want to light some incense and just chill out.
  • The greatest hits album they released is incredible.
  • Perfect for when you are in the "not really in the mood for anything" mood.
  • The vocalist all the way to the instrumentals are perfect.

My favorite instrumental from Steely Dan:

I looove Steely Dan. You mentioned their greatest hits, but I think you'd be making a mistake in not checking out their studio albums-- their discography is pretty dang flawless.

I've got close to every album on vinyl. Can't Buy A Thrill is one of my favorites.

All their studio albums were accomplished and polished, but their best three have to be Pretzel Logic, Katy Lied and Aja.

Pretzel Logic is my second favorite. Speaking in terms of vinyl, I love the first side a lot. Rikki Don't Lost That Number is a great way to kick off the album:

#87: Miss May I

  • They released Monument in 2010, which quickly became one of my favorite albums of that year.
  • Perfect workout / anger music.
  • Miss May I give a new definition on the term "heavy", at least in my opinion.
  • Great band to take a break from and come back to be impressed twice as much as you were the first time listening.
