Well, what did y'all buy today?

I didn't get The Flaming Lips collab album. I wanted it, but not for 40 bucks. Both stores I visited were also sold out of the Feistodon split, but at least I got Mastodon/Flaming Lips.

I bought Gorillaz for a friend.

Is the Death From Above vinyl just a standard pressing? I didnt see that on any of the Record Store Day lists.

There is a shop in Newcastle called Thats Entertainment which is basically just full of DVD and CD overstock. It wont be around forever, they just have cheap deals on stock left over from other similar shops that have closed down and dont stock any vinyl at all. They were part of Record Store Day today. Baffling.

Nope, it's a repress on pink vinyl, limited to 1000. It was only sold in Canada so that would be why it wasn't on any lists.

The T-Rex Electric Warrior vinyl set looked pretty sexy too. I sat here and thought about going to my local record shops all day today but I'm trying to save money. I would have gone pretty crazy, I think.

I did go crazy. The plan was to not go over a hundred dollars but my total ended up at nearly $160. The Gorillaz 10" was for a friend though, so he's gonna pay me back.
