Well, we could do it like a pub quiz sort of thing, but if you're going to involve teams we're going to need a lot more players, and based on the level of interest so far (I know it's only been less than two days, but still, have to keep bumping) I wonder if that would happen.

If you guys want to spread the word, and see who (if anyone) is interested, then maybe killer teams could be put together, with say one person taking heavy metal, one taking pop, one jazz and so on.

It would be a pity to let the thing die just because it can't be tweaked...

Anyway, the questions below were just taken off the top of my head. Obviously, they would be biased towards my age group, though the Ronnie Scott's one concerns a musical genre I have no interest in, so it's not only the music I'm into, but certainly the music I know about, or of, which would have to be the case anyway.

Maybe someone wants to join me setting the questions? But again, we'd need a pretty decent level of interest in order to have enough players.

Hmm. Perhaps I shouldn't have gone ahead and ordered that big leather chair...

If you want to try something a little less ambitious, why not post a question on music, and the person to get that right (first) sets the next one, and so on?

Not what I had in mind, but it might be a little easier to implement...

Or I could do it like the album club sort of idea, sending lists of questions to people/teams, assuming we agree in advance that the internet is off-limits for looking up the answers? Collaboration would be allowed, but only using the net for emails/posting, no Google, Wiki, Discogs etc.
