Since telling the artist will take forever to tell, it will be better to tell only the genres of music I don't like anymore that I used too

anything country. I grew up on country the first 8 years of my life. I returned to listening to SOME country in 2008, then stopped again. I occassionally listen to the songs that I liked that specifically came out in 2008 that are country, just not anything new is out nowadays

emo music. I may listen to some every now and then but very rarely. It was my favorite genre of music back in Jr. High.

Rap music- done away with it completly.

I started my Disney music phase when I was around 9 years old. It only lasted a couple of years, thankfully. I don't think I could've handled being one of those kids that worships Disney from the womb to college. My lowest point was probably being a 10-year-old boy singing Hilary Duff songs in the shower.

...

But hey, at least I never had a nu-metal phase!

Weezer created Pinkerton, which is one of my all time favourites. Give them props for that, even if they've been **** since.

Bands like Weezer, Jimmy Eat World and Greenday get a lot of flack for lowering the standard of their work as they age, but the way I see it, it's impossible to channel the teenage angst and emotion that each portrayed on their earlier records when they were misguided, emotionally unbalanced youngsters.
Now that they are rich 30 somethings, how can they possibly relate to doomed romances , the man holding them down and first love?

Yeah, but that's why you grow up. Weezer... didn't. Pork and Beans was evidence of that.

30 somethings? I doubt it. Maybe Jimmy Eat World are all still in their 30s.
