Well there are a lot of less known artists that are doing their new thing, but unless they go mainstream, I can't really call them innovators.

I would say European DJs since they really have influenced music of all kinds.

i think technology has helped current music today

Not just electronic upgrades but also hardware upgrades

there are so many electronic toys and gadgets that have came out lately like Soud distortion micophones and various SOund boards and compressers and pads

and even just simple wooden instruments like the whamola bass and Intonarumori and all the old and obscure instruments that artist look to put in there music
