Ambiguous "them"? You mean like Rolling Stone and VH1?
theyre not being pushy. the only people being pushy are the "beatle haters" who band together and attack people who speak against them just as much as the "beatle fans" they so despise for doing exactly the same thing

Who hates The Beatles?

I don't

Janszoon doesn't either, he started a thread just a few months ago giving them another chance to make an impression on him and he was complimentary on a lot of their stuff.

Do I think they're the greatest band ever? Not by a long shot.

And that's what a lot of Beatles fans seem to have a problem with sadly.

well if they dont hate them they have a funny way of showing it. I for some reason got targeted originally by duraddict for "turning mb into a beatle fan site" and this whole ugly business began. if we're going down that route i havent heard any "pushy bunch of people" make any statements for the Beatles on this thread or any other......where are they?

And if these "pushy bunch of people" are Rolling Stone then your argument is flawed anyway because Bob Dylan and THE STONES have the same amount of albums as the Beatles in the finished list. This is truly pathetic

I actually mentioned Frank Zappa in this thread, not the Stones, nor The Beatles nor Dylan.

And the Stones or Dylan don't have 4 albums in the top 10 so it's not flawed.
If it is pathetic why start a thread on it?

Really? Can please show me a single comment I've made in this thread that would lead you to believe that I hate the Beatles?

Well, to be honest you seem like one of them. Anyone who questions the Beatles having 4 out 10 of the top albums is a "hater" to you. This is typical of the people I'm talking about, anything short of abject reverence toward the Beatles is offensive to them.

Interestingly I've repeatedly tried to have a discussion about the list in general, but you insist on talking about the Beatles.

im actually considered a Beatle hater in my circle of friends and i rarely feel the need to defend their popularity. There is a difference between disliking the fact that Rolling Stone favour the Beatles so much and accusing me of being a Beatle fanatic just because i was the only person to have an opinon that didn't sit well with the Music Banter tribe. The forum is for discussion and the coming together of different opinion. not an orgy for people to sit around discussing how much they prefer obscure bands to popular bands like the fab four,.
