I'm anxiously awaiting their new album actually. Time will tell for me.

I actually got into Tomahawk because I heard Patton was doing a Native American tribute more or less, researching old Native American chants and their culture, etc.

Then I found the other albums and really enjoyed those too!

Jawbreaker - "Do You Still Hate Me?"

A great, fast-paced song. Simple lyrics. Catchy melody

By the way, what A Plus did was make an album with each song sampling a different Red Hot Chili Peppers song. Road Trippin is a big RHCP hit. I quite enjoyed HIS take on it, and that he shows appreciation for music outside the genre he works in. Mind, he only borrowed a musical hook and 2 or 3 lines from singer Anthony Keidis. Very respectable use of sampling. Really made it his own.

How many rappers you've seen on the highway? Ballpark estimate 100 for every million cars.
I didn't realize A Plus took inspiration from Red Hot Chili Peppers' songs as a way of paying homage to them while making his own creations. That *is* nice.

Only one out of every 10,000 cars probably holds a rapper? That's not many.

In answer to your question: it’s difficult to think of a short song reflective of my beliefs, but this may come closest (although it’s 0:37 seconds past the 3 minute rule):

Yes, I think you have. I thought he was singing “gamboling train” – but trains don’t “gambol” – or maybe they do in T. Rexstasyland.

Here’s another T. Rex track under three minutes and one of my favorites. It's almost like a punk song (for him, anyway). Marc's lip-synching is way off, but you may like his shoulder movements and plumage, Erica!
Ahhh...I should have guessed the shortish song that is most reflective of your beliefs might be George Harrison's "Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth)," because I remember seeing that on your Top 10 list...and you're a bridge-builder yourself, Liz. That's a very mellow, pretty, and meaningful song.

Yes, I think trains do gambol and frisk about in Rexstasyland. I *did* like Marc's plumage. Thank you, Liz.

I've been looking through songs I have loved at some point in my life, trying to find more that are under 3 minutes long, and today again I met with success:

Naked Eyes - "Could Be"
I always liked the depressing, somber feeling and low bass in this song. I remember when I was 18 during my gloomy moments, the gloomier the song, the better I felt! (Things haven't changed much. )

EDIT: I just read on Wikipedia that keyboardist Rob Fisher died on August 25, 1999, aged 42, following surgery for cancer. Well, that's just ****ty.

Two very different songs...

I fell in love with your world{or I fell in love with you, world}, but I know it's just the sky
I don't know where I belong
...Either way, I love these lyrics

I want to remix this
