Pattern in this thread:

User 1 posts an Album Cover Image.

User 2 responds with "OMG YOU THOUGHT THAT WAS GONNA BE GOOD?"

****'s getting repetitive.

That's mainly because a lot of the stuff here was pretty much determined to be awful before it was released.

"The new Nicki Minaj release was a disappointment!"
No sh*t Sherlock, we didn't need a Pitchfork journalist to tell us that.

After Octahedron, I would've been satisfied with just an 'okay' album.

I was still disappointed.

I agree. I love Devin's work, but Epicloud was pretty damn bad (although I liked the re-recording of "Kingdom").

I'm a big fan of Of Montreal, but their last two albums haven't really done it for me. I think Kevin Barnes became so obsessed with going anti-commercial after selling his song to the Outback Steakhouse that he almost went weird for weird's sake (or weirder, I guess). They're not bad albums, per se, just not my favourite...

That new Godspeed album bored me to tears on first listen. Decent on the second.

I share your pain. I honestly thought Nicki Minaj would be a unique talent not this clown she has become.
