easy and cheapest way to make a video clip for your music
“Simplicity is an art”
i decided to write this article to share my knowledge with others :
first of all i would like to give some thanks to Oren Peli the film
director and the producer of paranormal activity who has inspired
me to make my first steps to create my video clip ohh, what ?,
yes , my video clip is a new style of footage this is what i am trying to clarify.
as we know a good music video clip requires some big money
but, i have no money to spend for this huge production so look what
i did , i went to the store to buy a little HD camera
with full HD resolution 1920x1080p that was it , then i had started taking some
shots around my beautiful city with my girl friend she was helping
me in some scenes , you know i couldn’t take all the shots by myself .great.
to put it in a nutshell , you can create your own video clip with some simple means
i will tell you step by step the requirments :
1- “talent” you have it , you are in
2- a good multi processors computer not expensive
3- a full HD camera in your hand
4- a friend who has some little background in footage
5- adobe premier for the montage and color correction , i recommand it
6- the song of your choice
now don’t be confused about where to start it’s quite simple just take your time while listening to your song and try to imagine the scenes of your video clip inside your mind before starting shooting in real.
don’t be afraid if you don’t have the knowledge in lighting or film making i’ve said “simplicity is an art”
collect the scenes in one directory … and start your montage little by little drop by drop
finaly it’s important that you have to be inspired by watching famous artists video clips
to acquire the basics that will help you in your proccess
