I'm also quite fond of the bass line in "Flesh for Fantasy," by Billy Idol. (Which, contrary to the video, is definitely not Billy himself.) Also, the bass line in "Little by Little," played by someone for Robert Plant, is up there but I have trouble getting excited over it due to the slow darkness of the track.

Amazingly, unless I'm missing something, Primus has yet to be mentioned in this thread. Here's one of Claypool's best basslines imo. I've always loved the simple/complex dynamic, not to mention those crazy little runs.
