Comadre album could be good if it weren't for the singing.

My face when I put this on -

On the plus side it is only 28 minutes long, so I may as well listen to all of it.

What would you say your top three genres are? If you could be a little more broad I'd appreciate it, like I'm going to assume if you like indie rock that you like shoegaze.

Not sure to be honest. I just consider it all to be "Rock"

If shoegaze is the chilled out mellow stuff like Beach House then yes I like that. But My Bloody Valentine was kinda heavy for me (same with that Comadre album) and I've seen that described as shoegaze too.

I'm pretty clueless to be honest and will listen to most stuff I'm still trying to find out what I like, the only genre I'm knowledgeable in is Hip-Hop. I joined this forum to find new music.

Well if you're getting into hip hop you'll definitely want to check out Flowers For My Father by Sadistik. Very talent young rapper from Seattle with some absolutely beautiful production on this album. You might get something out of the new Joy Formidable album, Wolf's Law, which has elements of what you heard on My Bloody Valentine, but is a little more decipherable.

#willpower got pushed back to march 19th, by the way. WHAT is he doing? And now I'll have to listen to the Justin Timberlake album on the same day, which with surely skew my feelings. Hot damn.

not a fan of modern hardcore then?
it isn't the most accessible of genres, what are you into?
The album that's impressed me most this year was actually Flux Pavillions, whose a sort of 'dubstep' (God I hate that term) producer.

That album has grown on me quite a lot, I probably like just as much as The Big Roar at this stage. I do think it's strange that the hidden track 'Wolf's Law' at the very end is the best song on the album.

Also:
Altar of Plagues - Teethed Glory and Injury (Apr. 30)

Yeah I definitely agree that "Wolf's Law" is the best thing on there, and it is a little strange that the obvious best track would be a hidden one.

Good to hear that Altar of Plagues has something new coming out. I hope it's better than Fen's latest album Dustwalker, because both Epoch (2011) and Mammal (2011) were albums I quite enjoyed and Fen really let me down this year.

It would have been better if they just listed it as the final track, but not that it really matters much as it's still there on the album. 'The Leopard and the Lung' is an amazing song as well.

I gave Epoch a listen when it came out two years ago and it didn't do much for me, must go back and give it another go. Mammal was a great album and I'm hoping for something just as good this time.

I have very in-depth knowledge of Grime but that's a dead style of music these days, I'd say I have reasonable knowledge of Hip-Hop and am pretty clueless in Rock. I'm into Rock mainly these days and would like to hear more.

To be honest mate just whatever is being highly rated.

Just saw P-Money has a feature on there, what's the style like I know he vocaled Bass Cannon which I couldn't stand so if the album is anything like that I very much doubt I'd like it.
