I agree, and I do like that that song a lot.

Here's one with a much higher cheese factor for you. I loved this when I was younger. I remember thinking it was really gritty and emotional at the time.

Haha love it. The popped collar must have given off that gritty, badass vibe.

And those pans from him looking down to turn his head up and face the camera, deep.

some new artist has been sampling this song cause I hear the damn chorus all the time, but it's not the actual song

is Fatboy Slim considered campy now? I still think his music is as good as ever

Don't forget about the high-waisted white jeans. Nothing is more badass than that. Also, the scene of him getting thrown out of the restaurant is a classic.

I hope not! I think his music has aged pretty well really.

Here's another great "gritty" one. I have to say, even as a twelve year old, I caught the whiff of cheese on this.

That got me thinking, 95% of hair metal I can't stand but there's one song I wanted to post, damn if I could remember

more cheesiness. I think it was Boogie Nights that introduced me to this song, great scene in that movie

You love 80s pop culture but you hate hair metal? Something does not compute.

I told you which music scenes I liked.

These cheesy songs are the exception, not the norm for my tastes. Hair metal reminded me of the bombastic, melodramatic music of the 70s. Sounded as fake as their hair
