He's better as a performer than a songwriter in my opinion though. I think his sound stylistics accompanied his lyrics well, but damn has he made some godawful cheesy songs.

He does... but some of them have really good messages and MJ is one of the most sincerest artists ever. I appreciate his positive messages so I don't mind it.

Songs like Heal The World and Childhood are cheesy but are also very good.

I always cry when I listen to Childhood. His vocals are so beautiful

Nah not all of his cheesy songs are awful. Along the lines of I Just Can't Stop Loving You and The Way You Make Me Feel, yeah.

The songwriting in Off The Wall is pretty cheesy, but it works, and I gotta say, I enjoy that album more than his others.

Beautiful and I love all the passion in his voice.

I don't think this song is cheesy.
