As much as I love that cover and that album, I'm gonna have to go with Ian on this one. That cover is just wizard.

As little as I like Ian Gillan, that's a Chris Foss spaceship, and I always loved his work, so Gillan gets the nod. Anyone brought up on the likes of 2000AD or Starlord will know his designs, and it evokes pleasant memories of a somewhat more innocent childhood, as well as an enduring interest in sci-fi ie a geek was born!
