Yup, taking notes.

This is the usual mix of bullying, unwarranted moderator praise, and a few voices of dissent. It's also not the first thread where a member complains of having been unfairly banned.

But the core issue is, What did he do wrong? The rules do not specifically forbid posting a link to an artist's page, even if that is the entire message. Although if it's a new thread by a new member or the same artist is mentioned in multiple threads, most likely it's spam. Was just one message in "What music are you listening to right now" deleted? Isn't links-only common in that thread? Anyone with good sense realizes it's discussions like this one has been so far that have severely hurt the forum's atmosphere and people's willingness to post.

The issue been resolved with the person in question and no one has even posted in this thread for several days. Resurrecting it for the sake of adding your own drama is completely unnecessary.

There's a word for this situation, they're called "forums".

Edited to add: oops, I meant:

That first one is one fat cat! They wouldn't even have encountered any resistance putting the hat on. It'd be like "Wha---? Whassat? Who's there? Oh look, I have a new hat! Cool!ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz....."
