Here's a little playlist I made for some of my favorite tracks from last year. Are we doing spotify urls or http links? Here's both:

Spotify:
Taste of 2012

A collection of free jazz and improvisational music.

Lost at Sea

This is a playlist inspired by a weird dream I had a while back, where I was standing on a beach and decided to walk into the sea. All of the songs here are somehow related to the sea and I tried to make the playlist capture what happened in the dream the best I could.

Going to check more of these out. The shoegaze playlist was awesome. I especially liked the Drop Nineteens track. Hadn't heard of them before. I'll be checking out the whole album.

Inspired by a friend doing the same, I made a playlist of the songs I remember liking the most from the year I moved to the US at the age of 9. I hardly listened to music before that, or just didn't recall much of it. This was my introduction to pop culture, specifically US pop culture. I didn't discriminate as much as it was all new to me, and I still really like several of these songs because they remind me of this year of big change in my life. Some I'd rather never hear again and have to skip.

I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.
