That depends on how big their achievement is, and how recent. A groundbreaking figure from the year 2005 will do, I think. But you should probably get a proper answer from someone with a bit more experience.

I don't know why but somehow I picture them letting their hair down and dancing to XTC's "Life Begins At the Hop". At least in private.

That song does have an upbeat, off-with-your-head type tune. It also sounds like the kind of song a guy chasing some girls down and getting rejected from time to time would listen to. I know it's the thing to do to post a song that has something to do with the person, but Alexander the Great seems like the kind of guy who would be into listening to a song about himself.

Firstly, Alexander means defender of men/mankind. Makes sense.

Secondly Alexander was renowned for his attempts to promote multiculturalism within his empire in an effort to do away with the ancient Greek/Persian-Barbarian distinctions and fully integrate the various peoples under his sway.

As such, he would totally dig the raw hip hop subculture that Will Smith epitomises.
