Two points:

1. Corb Lund is a genuinely fun country musician.

2. You're forgetting the importance of Blasphemy to the black metal scene. You can hardly go to a metal forum without seeing "rbce" (ross bay cult eternal), or discussions of war/bestial black metal. Christ, one of their biggest worship bands (Black Witchery) have somehow become popular to the point I've had several people, in Montana, start conversations with me about the band.

Yes,it is politically incorrect to think an American toy company (reference below) is connected somehow with American culture or to say an Americanized Canadian (expect for the folksy mystique part) is an avid fan of said company and to be on the safe side don't mention Lioneltech and Trainmaster Command, that never happened.

I always liked the band Triumph. As artist they were equal to Rush artistically speaking. Especially Rik Emmett on vocals and guitar. But I agree with you 100% about Rush.

Sloan is another underrated band out of Canada.

Gil Moore's daughter, Holly, was a camper at the camp I worked at a few years ago. So I met him on several occasions simply because I was one of her counsellors. Great guy, super nice.

Wow .. that's an amazing opportunity coming your way BD.

Well Moore is not only a great drummer, but his harmony vocals were the anchor to Rik Emmett's singing.

Great 3 piece band.
