Too many to be honest. Ones that jump out at me are Japandroids, No Age, Daft Punk, The White Stripes, The Evens, Death From Above 1979.

Wham or Tears for Fears, but of course they had a ton of backing musicians. I rarely like music that doesn't contain several instruments.

Well, a two-man project can have multiple instruments and parts without using session members.

That's how Solefald is (Cornelius Jakhelln - vocals, guitars, bass; Lazare Nedland - vocals, keyboards, drums).

Anaal Nathrakh is the same way, they only use session members to play live.
