Going Days Without Music

This website consists of hardcore music lovers who listen to music nonstop (correct me if I'm wrong). Am I the only one who can go a day without it, maybe two at the most?
Sometimes I think this is necessary to clear your listening pallet.

I can go a real long time without listening to anything. The longest for me was maybe 2 months. That was over the course of a summer - it's really hard for me to go without listening to any kind of music for even a day during the school year, since I study music.

I've gone some days without listening to music. I listen to so much heavy music lately that sometimes I do need a rest. But thinking about life without music would be severely depressing. I feed off it way too much.

Music's therapeutic for me. I always need to be listening to a record, it can never be silent.

I hardly go a day without listening to music. Sometimes maybe it's just a bit of radio while commuting, or a little bit of shuffling at home in the evening. That's on days that I'm really swamped at work without much heads-down time (too many meetings and such) or on a weekend if I'm out doing things. It bothers me if I had intended to listen to certain albums, because I always have in mind what I might want to listen to most days.

However, it is kind of a good cleanse sometimes to take a break. I honestly wish I could take a break for a week or something and not pay attention to music, message boards, discovering, cataloging, etc. I could hear music passively, but not intentionally.

I go through phases where I take a bit of a break from music and mostly listen to podcasts and talk radio. During those times I sometimes will go a few days without listening to music at all.

I'm pretty sure a few of us don't listen to music at all.

I have a break in the weekend sometimes because I listen to music anytime I'm out during the week and during class. I haven't been able to update my last.fm since my computer has had a new OS put in it. I will have to redo all that process, but have to send my computer back again for more repairs UGHHH.

Same for me. There are times that all my music, and everything new I hear, bores me to death. Sometimes I stop for about a week, waiting for my interest to return.
