Default Fantasies While Listening to Music

Everyone has them - you know you do, lol. What do you fantasize about while listening to your favorite songs? The main one for me is always the ice skater. I imagine I'm in such n such sequined dress (off white) w/ beige nylons and ice skates.

Rolling round in David Gilmour's greasy hair.

Being part of a group of friends in the Hardcore era who had a lot of respect for my Garage Punk interest in Southeastern MI, I could seriously imagine me and my friends more or less getting wither into going to the Hideout (A Club in the suburbs of Detroit), The 5'th Dimension (A2's Club which closed in a couple of years with The MC5 having the final show!), or even the Grande Ballroom and then hitting the Drive Ins for some flick and crappy food, sometimes going to the Adults Only flicks. I also could see me and my friends going to the stores and getting a crap load of singles or those albums that would go for $50-100 two decades later (Damn, you streamers are so damn spoiled! Just kidding.). Just think, catching the very early days of The Bob Seger System/Last Herd even before getting their first national hit, watching The MC5 in their early rage, catching The Stooges in their beginning, booing many bands who opened for The 5 and not being able to match up ("Kick Out the Jams or Get Off the Stage!"), watching the Rationals grow from Detroit's more edgy Young Rascals (Check out what they wore in '66) to their version of heavy guitar music ("Guitar Army"), catching the Sauserful-era Pink Floyd at the Grande...so much more! Hell, maybe getting together to create and write a hip magazine that was to be sold in the Wayne State U area that would only last a few issues.

That I'm drumming along with a midi sampler like Araabmuzik or Lazerbeak.

I listen to pop and pretend I'm a famous popstar. When I listen to electronica I imagine I'm at a rave, drugged up and dancing like crazy. With rock/metal/prog/alternative I imagine I'm in a band playing songs like the Cranberries or The Pretty Reckless.
