Default The Book Entitle 100 Best Beatle Songs.....

I picked up a copy of this book which makes for interesting reading. The number one song was A Day In The Life. I can't argue that it is a stunning song which wraps up perhaps the best rock pop album ever written, but personally I would have picked a different one. What song does everyone else think should have been number one?

Hard to say because it really is a matter of opinion. I dig A Day In The Life and I think it probably is one of their greater songs. Maybe not lyrically, sure, but because it sounds like a bunch of songs mixed into one is what makes it so grand. Really, The Beatles done that a lot and even Paul later in "Band On The Run". But it was a rad ass technique, man.

I think the number one Beatles song is out in the open. It's just not possible to choose one.

The song is epic in every sense of the word, but I don't even think George played on it which totally voids my vote for it being the best Beatle song of all time.....Hey Jude would be my choice because it sounds a lot more like a group effort.
