That's why I think it would be so incredibly awesome. Mike Patton does it to some extent, as do extended voice/throat singers. The best example that I could find is Phil Minton's song "It's" off of his album By The Stream. If you're interested, Spotify does have this song and it's the only place I've seen it. I'll post a video that's somewhat similar:

I figured that someone would post this one. It does fit the criteria, but I wish that other artists would do it more often. Extended throat technique works as well but I'd like to see something new.

I've never been a fan of Maldoror. I'm honestly not the biggest harsh noise fan at all, I like Pig Heart Transplant and something else that I forgot lol.

I love harsh noise, but Merzbow isn't my favourite by a longshot. I tend to favour the originals such as Maurizio Bianchi, Iannis Xennakis, Keiji Haino, and other artists along those lines.

EDIT: Maybe Masonna fits in on the a cappella harsh noise category? He seems to appropriately fit the genre title, but he also does use quite a few effects. That and these all prove me wrong haha. Whoops

Gypsy doom. Minor key accordion and violin on top of some nice fuzzy, droney guitar and bass, and some thudding drums.

The world needs this genre desperately.
