Since Trollheart is on hiatus, would any senior members care to take this over? I don't have a song yet but wanna see this thread keep doing work.

I'll take back the reigns. The next theme (courtesy of a Random Word Generator) is "sleep", and you'll have until next Saturday (May 31) to PM me your submissions.

Just a reminder that you have to send me your tracks for the next tape by Saturday. I've only gotten two submissions so far.

Here's our mixtape for this week's theme, sleep. Submissions were a little slim and hate paper doll threw four suggestions at me so I decided to throw them in because they're good picks .

Mixtape May 31

1. Coil - The Dreamer Is Still Asleep (bob.)
2. Colin Stetson - A Dream of Water (Frownland)
3. Draconian - A Slumber Did My Spirit Seal (Carpe Mortem)
4. Hallucinogen - Gamma Goblins (It's Turtles All the Way Down Mix) (Mondo Bungle)
5. Leadbelly - Where Did You Sleep Last Night? (hate paper doll)
6. R.E.M. - The Sidewinder Sleeps Tonite (hate paper doll)
7. The Postal Service - Sleeping In (hate paper doll)
8. The Smiths - Last Night I Dreamt Somebody Loved Me (hate paper doll)

Oh man, I feel so bad about that! I should have read the rules, will definitely do it the right way next time. Thanks for indulging my terrible picks though.

Let's see, the random word generator gave me the word novel, so I'll extend that to a broader theme of literature.

Next deadline is Saturday June 7, so think up a good track while you're listening to this week's mixtape!
