Default Evaluate a music video, enter to win a $50 Amazon.com gift card, help my research

Hello again MusicBanter friends. The help of this community was a great contribution to my research earlier this year - I even mentioned the website by name in my dissertation! I am currently working on some additional music-based research using a survey where you view and evaluate a music video. Each survey-taker is entered into a drawing for a $50 Amazon.com gift card. This research will be used for an article being submitted to an academic journal early next year. I would appreciate your participation as well as any sharing of the survey that you can help with. The only requirement is that the survey-taker is at least 18 years old. If you have any questions feel free to private message me or email me at pbarrett@sbu.edu.

THANK YOU!
- Paul

Thanks to those of you who have taken this survey... I just wanted to refresh the post because I've gotten some good feedback. This will take you less than ten minutes, probably less than 7! And you will qualify for a drawing to win a $50 Amazon.com gift card.
THANKS!

Please note that I do not feel this is spam. I have had a productive history with musicbanter.com. I am happy to remove my survey if asked to do so, however please keep in mind that the mods have not only encouraged me to post my academic research here; they have also made my survey posts sticky.

There is no financial gain whatsoever associated with any of my surveys. They are strictly for academic research purposes. Their intended use is to advance knowledge of music consumers.

If any moderators or users would like more information, please email me at pbarrett@sbu.edu.

Thank you,
Paul G. Barretta, Ph.D.

Thanks... I think my original private message to a mod didn't make its way there... I just re-sent it to another who helped me earlier this year.

This member's project as well as his last project earlier this year, has been approved by the moderation team. It's a legitimate academic project and is not spam. Any further accusations of this thread being spam will be ignored.

I fully support music research since I do a lot of it myself. I think this is a great way of gathering data from a global community, and the great thing is that PhDResearcher sought our permission the first time around rather than bombarding the forum right away, like spammers do. I hope that members take a couple of minutes to complete the survey, and there is a chance to win a prize for doing so!!
