Here's an embedded video of all three of the Beatles performances on the Ed Sullivan Show in February 1964:

Paul McCartney said the screaming was so loud that all the band could hear was Ringo's drums.

The New York studio the Beatles performed in was the same Rockefeller Plaza studio that David Letterman currently uses to do his late night talk show.

That sucks.... The video displayed by the user on YouTube, complete with a code to share it at off site locations. Here's a shorter & less seen clip of the Beatles on UK television in 1963, several months prior to their Ed Sullivan debut in America.

it's weird, the older I get the more I appreciate the early beatles stuff. it's not as diverse or groundbreaking as the post rubber soul stuff, but the songs are just great and hold up amazingly well today. those screaming girlies had taste...
