...pretty much all nu-metal and jam bands have terrible names.

If Led Zeppelin weren't one of the greatest bands of all time, they'd have a terrible band name.

I don't think there's anything wrong with most of those! Some are quite clever and witty..

The Ting Tings always makes me laugh. Yes, I admit I actually listen to them when I need to listen to some music that's happy-happy and repetitive, but their name is terrible. I'm actually growing fond of the name ahah.

Oh man, I can't believe I forgot about (həd) p.e. until just now. Talk about a stupid name! And in this case, not only does learning what it means not make it any better, I think it may actually make matters worse.
