They are in the nickleback **** show category.
I'll admit that I liked a few of their songs back in the day, like "Higher" and "With Arms Wide Open." I also went to a Christian private school during my elementary years, and Creed was the heaviest sounding band to me at that time. So my judgement of them is probably clouded. I'm sure if I went back and listened to them now, I'd be disappointed.

I agree with Forward to Death, though. I've always liked the musicianship from them, but Stapp's vocals are a little too much on the raspy side, significantly more so than Chad Kroeger.

I'm just glad we're talking about Creed in a thread titled has music become pussified, totally fitting.

You think your high school was bad? At my high school, a girl was LEGIT angry I had never heard of Party in the U.S.A. before.

I was like, "I've heard of Born In the U.S.A." I don't think she even knew what I was talking about. lulz.

I was over in the corner singing lyrics from Hardest Button to Button and The Living End.

EDIT: Oh sorry, I got wicked off-topic. apologies.
