Im confused.

Soo the only reason why you asked that question is because some of my favorite artists are African American?

I am confused because majority of the members here mainly listen to white rock bands or white indie artists. Have you asked them the same question?
It's best if i don't..

If you prefer, i could it explain it to you in a PM to not derail this thread any further.

if not, take it as a joke from an ignorant guy.

I feel like he probably didn't mean "white rock" as a genre, so much as an adjective attached to "artists".

"White rock artists".

If "White Rock" was a genre, it would consist of Air Supply, Michael MacDonald, Barry Manilow, Styx, Hall & Oates, The Eagles/Don Henley, etc., etc.

Now I sort of wish it was a thing.

Most indie bands pretty much sound the same to me; I feel nothing from hearing them.

Red Hot Chili Peppers.

I'm in a US government facility and they literally won't let me stop listening to them.
