Lordy is this cheesy. That not necessarily a bad thing, but it's definitely the strongest adjective I can come up with to describe it. I don't think those synths allowed it to age very well either. It's not bad, and it's definitely very catchy, but I would not be particularly interested in hearing an entire album from these guys. If I had to put a number, I'd give it a solid 5/10.
That's mine as well for May 25. The cheesiness is a bad thing for me, bleh.

This one for me too, don't really like it that much but it's not exactly bad or anything, so I'll go with the neutral 5/10 as well.

#1 in the US for two weeks in November of 1974

not terrible I guess?

This is what was happening in the UK Singles Chart at the same time

Had not heard of either of these but I guess they both suggest the genre blending mediocrity of music that was popular when I was born. Solid 5/10. Will never listen to these again.

0/10. Maybe I'm being too mean but I could not get through 30 seconds of this video.

So this is as close as I can get here. No one dropped a single on 8/31/1984...

But Tina made her comeback a few days prior so, I'm actually ok with using it.

8.5, because it's not that great of a tune, but its one we all know and it will continue to be played long after I am dead. So the 8.5 is for staying power.

August 18th 2000. (p.s. I know I'm young, don't give me that rubbish.)

Robbie Williams - Rock DJ.

Well, you probably all know it. Not bad, but still not good.

5.5/10
