Alright, looks like we have enough involved to get her going.

Our first theme will be "hollow" and you will have until Friday June 20, 2014 AD Earth Time. Just submit your track in this thread when you think it's ready. I'll decide the ordering of who picks the future themes based off of who participates in this first round. Voting will start on the 21 and that's when the new theme will be announced as well.

I'd suggest making a new thread with a poll, and link to the tunes when all submissions are in. Maybe put it in the Song Writing, Lyrics and Poetry category. Kind of like this:

So far I'm thinking about doing solo acoustic guitar with a new tuning I developed (D-Ab-D-D-Ab-D). Haven't recorded anything yet because I want to jump into that when I'm playing on it and it feels right. I may end up adding in a few other elements but that's where I'm at so far.

I recorded something last night. I had a few beers in me so I'm listening back right now... ugh. blech.

Screw it, I'm leaving it. I'm trying to think of something to use for the theme.

For those having trouble thinking something up, playing on hollow instruments only would technically fit the theme...

I might just use a ton of reverb. Makes things 'sound' hollow.

I haven't had any privacy to record anything for a rough draft, hopefully later today.
