In the defense of the people that say ICP sucks are lack intelligence...I had a coworker when I worked at Target that played nothing but ICP in the backroom while we worked freight. Nearly every song, they talked about their dicks, or each others dicks. A lot of the lyrical content I heard left a lot to be desired...I mean, not anything impressive; Fred Durst sounds like a good writer when compared to the fine lyrical talents of ICP...I say that with rich sarcasm.

To each their own. I think it is awesome to identify with music, no matter how dumb or silly those bands or artists may look or sound to people that don't understand it. And just to make note of it. The juggalos that slit that dudes throat because he said ICP sucks. Those are the people that give the group you're a part of a bad wrap. This was recent. Read about it but don't remember where that was.

But more power to you man. I support you, regardless of my opinion of ICP or The Juggalo group(s). Sending good will and positive thoughts. Take it easy man.

In my experience a large part of the community are angsty teens/twenty-somethings going through a phase before eventually "growing out of it", who then go on about how immature the whole thing is. Most of these people tend to be on the average side of the intelligence spectrum, so they rag on ICP largely to seem smarter, just like they probably praised them a few years earlier to seem edgy.

The rest are working class types who turn to escapism to deal with bleak economic prospects and/or moderate mental/emotional issues. I've only known a few of these people, but they're a hard group to get along with if you're not of a similar disposition. They can be friendly enough, but your average life-long juggalo tends to be a bit emotionally unstable.

Pretty much my experience with that community as well. But I'm sure not all that are a part of it are dull as a head of a pin needle.

And I thought I had it rough, being a retro girl in love with everything 60s & 70s, bored shitless of the 21st century and the fucktards in it. I guess I can deal with the odd stares I get for having hair that just barely graces my knees and an impeccable fashion sense (people honestly don't know how to dress themselves anymore - it's like everything went to hell at the dawn of the 1980s or something) because at least I'm not a juggalette.
