The journey never ends, man. Still evolving.

Been on the hunt for more rockabilly lately, I've barely scratched the surface. Recommendations with a western kick much appreciated.

The Everly Brothers
Johnny Cash
CCR

Just off the top of my head. Can't think of anything current.

Glad to see you stuck around, Carpe. You were just establishing yourself when I left, and our paths haven't crossed since.

Life's been super busy lately, I'll pop in sometimes though. Also will check out those bands and let ya know how I liked them.

Carpe, I'm enjoying Imelda May's songs. Try Johnny Got a Boom Boom.

i also luv how they wait to answer after you tell your answers.
they think they're sneaky and can hide behind your answer and just nod along avoiding talking about a specific band or genre.

if ppl ask me what is my favourite band i quickly say the pixies and from that i assume the person will know i also listen to bands similar to them or within that genre and i'll name other bands regardless if he knows them or not.

ppl like that rather like everything superficially to be accepted than to passionately like a specific thing at the risk of not being accepted.

I don't tell people my favorite genre is doom because the average person isn't familiar with nerdy subgenres, I'll usually just say I like Black Sabbath and their offspring.

At least Sabbath is a solid reference but when ppl say "i listen to everything" without actually naming anything it's kinda stupid.

I don't know man. I really passionately like a lot of different things. That's what makes it hard for me to name a favorite genre or band, not superficiality. The only way I feel that I can truly answer questions about favorites is to give a very long-winded answer and I know most people aren't interested in hearing that.

It's ok if you like alot of bands and you have a broad music taste but at least name a couple of bands that serve as a reference to what you like don't just say you like everything without giving examples of it cause that's when i start to assume you're just being pretentious.
